Letter from the President
Dear NAF member, 2008 is underway and destined to be full of surprises. Here’s hoping that it exceeds all your expectations. As we enter the last few months of the NAF’s fiscal year I’d like to personally thank our board of directors and committee members, a cross-section of very busy professionals, for their time and expertise as we continue to make the NAF a valuable asset to its members. Your club depends upon their commitment and they deserve our collective appreciation for their efforts. This is also the time that we begin looking forward to next year, which for us begins in June. Many of our board members will continue to fulfill their obligation but there will be opportunities to add new faces at the table. If you are interested in nominating yourself or another member for consideration please contact the NAF office and they will pass your name along to the nominating committee. Board members are voted in by the membership and announced at the last membership meeting in May. Also, in our ongoing effort to stay on top of what’s important to you, we are preparing to conduct a survey of our membership. This is your opportunity to tell us (anonymously, of course) how we’re doing and what you think we could be doing better. Please help us by taking a few minutes to participate because your opinion always helps shape the direction of our club. We’ve got more in store for the coming months so please check the NAF website for updates and information. And I hope you’ll join us at the ADDY® Awards show on March 1 as we recognize the incredible work coming out of Nashville. Hope to see you soon!
