Letter from the President
Greetings! You spoke and we’re paying attention. We just wrapped up a very insightful NAF membership survey and our thanks go out to everyone who took the time to respond. Now it’s time to share what you all are thinking. Please mark your calendars for Thursday, May 15 at Maggiano’s as Dan Prince from Prince Market Research will reveal the results of our efforts. Springtime brings renewal and so it goes with the Nashville Advertising Federation. You will soon be receiving ballots for next year’s slate of officers and board of directors. Voting will continue through the end of April and we’ll introduce the new lineup at the May 15 luncheon, our last meeting before next fall. In the meantime we hope to see you at Hermitage Golf Course for our annual golf outing on Monday, April 21. We’re looking forward to an afternoon of fun, food and networking. There may still be time to get in as an individual or as a team. Contact the NAF office at 269-5312. C’mon, there are worse things you could be doing on a Monday in the spring! The effort to improve the value of your NAF membership never stops. Your board has worked hard this year to present a more interesting schedule of programs and speakers. We even tried a breakfast format that seemed to mesh better with some of our busy schedules. Plus, breakfast at Maggiano’s is pretty darn good! You can expect even more diversity in our programs and meeting times in the future. I’ve said this many times throughout the year: all organizations are only as good as the members who participate. We’ve already got some very passionate and talented people working to make the NAF a better club but we need your help, too. Join a committee and help us make a difference. Finally, please allow me to say congratulations again to all our outstanding ADDY® winners. We wish everyone the best of luck as we head toward the national competition at the annual AAF conference in Atlanta this June. Nashville continues to turn out some of the finest work that you’ll find anywhere in this country. We should all feel very proud. Onward and upward!
