Director, Account Services
A growth-oriented Louisville, KY area Advertising/Public Relations firm seeks a Director of Account Service. This position will collaborate with the Executive Management team to develop and implement strategic planning initiatives; will cultivate and manage business accounts; will effectively service and expand new and existing client relationships; and will manage the overall functionality of the Account Services Department.
This role requires a creative business thinker who can skillfully promote and deliver strategic marketing and advertising solutions; an individual who possesses the ability to forge and leverage strong relationships; and someone who possesses the drive to create new business solutions in order to enhance client outcomes. In addition to industry knowledge, this individual needs to have a broad business background and possess an entrepreneurial mentality.
Qualified candidates for the Director, Account Services position will possess the following skills, experience and motivations:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications or similar; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 7 - 10 years relevant work experience in advertising agency; minimum 3 years in management role
- Proven record of proactive leadership experience, to include novel approaches to strategic planning, creating and implementing advertising/marketing/PR solutions, staff management and delivering outstanding account service
- Demonstrated ability to create and successfully execute a strong account services program and a personal interest in and enthusiasm for the advertising/marketing/public relations industry
- Enthusiasm for creating new and leveraging existing connections in order to deepen client relationships, network for referral sources and build an interest in the client’s business, leading to overall account growth
- Stimulation associated with leading an organization through the opportunities related to change and growth
- Ability to empower and cultivate a capable account services team and foster a sense of commitment to the success of the employees, team, organization and clients
